Went to Tamarind for dinner and drinks and had a great experience. I read earlier reviews about slow service etc but decided to give them a try.... Glad we did! We caught the last of happy hour and the bartender was very friendly and accommodating. We then proceeded to a dining table for dinner and our server was excellent. Very friendly and wanted to be sure our experience was positive. Both the dining room and bar area were very nice. Would return next time in the area!

The food and the ambiance is too good, We ordered couple different dishes... OUTSTANDING, and the drinks we ordered, Were all really good, Will surely visit again...... Thank You

Stopped in to try crabcakes that were recommended to me by a friend. I was told that the crabcakes are full of crab meat which I will agree to. I can't give a full review as I did not eat an entrée, but I will return.

My second time here dining with my Indian friend. The butter chicken was divine! You must try the Puchkas and Samosa for appetizers! Always great authentic food and excellent service!

Amazing service and even more amazing food. Authentic and plentiful. Hands down best Indian food around.

Pretty decent food and good service, but the prices are pretty steep, particularly for the portion sizes. The happy hour portion sizes are significantly smaller per $ than the main menu versions. Different but not better than other Indian options of the Hudson Valley.

The food is great! We went for dinner on a weeknight and it was pretty full. It was kind of a weird experience when we walked in: One person greeted us and then, as they seated another table, someone else came up and tried to seat us, but the original person came back, and was very confused. Anyway, we got a seat The restaurant is very large, clean, and has a nice ambience. They had weird music playing that spanned the decades from 70s to modern country. The food was fantastic. Everything we tried was so delicious. We had a chicken dish, spinach and cheese, and artichoke curry. We also had samosas and garlic naan. Everything tasted totally fresh and was beautifully seasoned and spiced. The service was prompt and friendly. The server offered suggestions and guidance. we had a fantastic meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be back!
